There are still plenty of valuable keyword domains available to register for less than $8 per year which can be easily re-sold for hundreds and even thousands of dollars in profit. Need proof? Have a look at the list below:

I’ve sold literally hundreds of the same type of domains over the years which are e-commerce related that end in shop/store in the dot COM or NET extensions. With the group of domains above, we focused on acquiring the best domains in the sports and outdoor related niche by doing some in-depth market research and keyword analysis.
To any knowledgeable domain investor or developer, most of the domains listed here are probably worth at least $100 – $200 each. That is only on the reseller market, what I like to call wholesale pricing. That is what I personally would pay without hesitation if I saw a domain such as SquashStore.net, FencingStore.net, WaterskiingStore.com, KayakingShop.com, etc listed on an expired list, forum or whatever.
The domain’s value should be pretty clear and ideas should be jumping staright at you as soon as you are done going through the list of domains. The potential is massive if you do everything right and the keywords are all relevant to each other.
They are not just any brandable, made up “sound good” domains. They are generic keyword domains describing something that covers a large category of products. Domains which an actual business can be built on that search engines will favor and users closely identify and want to interact with.

Now for any actual business owner, who does not have a strong keyword domain currently, any of the domains above may be worth $500 – $1000 easily. Maybe even a few thousand. Depends on how big and successful their business is and how much they fall in love with the domain. How badly they want it. A good keyword domain is an investment and one that should pay for itself in no time.
So I basically purchased these domains for re-sale / development. We will first try to quickly “flip” them for as much as possible. Be it $200, $300 or $500+. It’s still not a bad ROI considering each domain cost less than $10. We’ll shop them around here and there and see how it goes. The unsold domains, we will mass develop as affiliate based stores. That is the plan. Clear and simple.
Basically, don’t wait for the domains to come to you… Gotta go out there and find them. They are out there. Like the title says; just gotta look. Good luck and happy domain hunting!
